The Master of Advanced Studies in Design Research for Digital Innovation is a 2-year programme run by the EPFL+ECAL Lab. It aims to train designers to perform as researchers for the industry and organizations, and to turn disruptive technologies into convincing user experiences.
Through its unique structure, the full-time programme offers a novel training experience combining academic research with concrete application. Rethinking post-masters education, it focuses on innovation, pragmatic impact and professional prospects.
Each year, 3-4 candidates are recruited to fill the role that combines a Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) at 30% and a research assistant position at 70%. Income from the position covers tuition fees and ensures the candidate financial autonomy.
